Mr. Basharat Rasool, FCA
Mr Basharat has been decorated with ICAP’s Gold Medal in Financial Reporting. He started his professional career with A. F. Ferguson & Co., Chartered Accountants (a member firm of PwC).
He has also served Deloitte Pakistan for two years before joining back to PwC as a Manager Assurance & Business Advisory Services. He has also been affiliated with Meezan Bank in Corporate & Structured Finance.
He holds rich experience of more than 25 years of rendering multi professional services including audit & assurance, taxation, business & brand valuation, transaction advisory, investigative & forensic, assets management, recovery of utility dues, software architecture, data analytics etc.
He led engagements of various clients from different business sectors including Financial Institutions, FMCGs, MNCs, Pharmaceutical manufacturing, trading etc.
Under his visionary leadership, JASB has achieved many milestones including status of Training Organization of ICAP/ACCA/ICAEW. The firm enjoyssatisfactory rating of Quality Control Review, placement on SBP Panel of Auditors, approved Consultant to Issue for listing on GEM Board of PSX.
Mr. Rasool has been a member of various committees of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan and Karachi Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
